Against Breast Cancer
There are three routes for the Breast Walk Ever Oxfordshire in 2024. Each distance has a circular route, starting and finishing in the historic town of Wallingford. Choose between Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k walks, all heading south along the Thames on national trails, bridleways and public footpaths.
The walks will be signed and a map will be available to you on the day both digitally and as a hard copy. The walk is fully marshalled with support stations offering snacks, coffee and cake. Dogs are most welcome and you will be greeted with a hard earned medal and massage at the finish as well as a glass of fizz!
The Marathon route starts at Wallingford, heading south towards Goring-on-Thames, continues south following the river to Whitchurch-on-Thames and Mapledurham before looping back cross-county to Goring via Whitchurch Hill, crossing the bridge to Streatley and following the river upstream through Moulsford before returning to Wallingford.
The Half Marathon starts in Wallingford and follows the Ridgeway and Thames Path through North Stoke, Little Stoke and South Stoke before reaching Goring. At Goring the Half Marathon crosses the River Thames to Streatley before heading up the other side of the river to Wallingford.
The 10KM distance starts at Wallingford, heads south down Watery Lane, through Newham Murren and Mongewell to North Stoke before heading through St Marys church and looping round onto the Ridgeway just before Little Stoke heading back to Mongewell crossing the Nosworthy Way Bridge and heading back to Wallingford past the boatyard and through the most historic parts of the town.
Our event village is located just over the bridge in Wallingford in Crowmarsh Gifford. Car parking is available at Riverside Carpark which is pay and display. On road parking is also available nearby without charge.
